Wow, a new year is already here. Hard to believe that 10 years ago I was in college, had just met Bob (gulp, we've been together THAT long?!), and I was living it up with all my girl friends. My how so much has happened in 10 years! Marriage, traveling, moving homes, babies...We're currently on child #3 and according to one of our friends "we'll have six before we're done". Not sure about six, but I will say that my sweet, only-child-husband has definitely become quite the baby lover . He is one super Daddy, so it's no wonder he loves our kids so much.
I'm not much for New Year's resolutions. I think they're kind of silly and, really, do people every stick to them longer than a few weeks? I will say that I hope I can have continued patience in the coming year as I embrace my lovely clan of three children under the age of three. It is sure to be one interesting year!
My Christmas Break was great! The painter finished up our whole house just before I got done with school for the year. It was so nice to have a freshly painted home for the holidays. The girls were spoiled rotten by everyone on both sides of the family. I think we can officialy run a toy store out of our home. We have everything from baby gear and soft toys out and waiting for Henry's arrival to a new kitchen and everything Elmo, Dora, and Princess for the girls to play with. It is hillarious. We can accomodate any child age 0 months-4 years old. I have to laugh or I might cry . All of our Christmas pictures can be found on the PeekABoo Page.
The girls are doing a great job sharing their room! They LOVE their bunk beds and if they had it their way I think they would both sleep on the top bunk together. Anna Grace has done so well for her age. She does not come out of bed and sleeps all night nice and snug. Their room renovation is almost complete. I will have pictures soon (I know I keep saying that, but I really mean it this time!). Henry's room is still in the works. I have his crib ready for him in case he decides to make an early debut, but other than that I don't have much ready at all!
Over the next few weeks I have a lot to do! The countdown to Henry's arrival is 7 1/2 weeks. I am hoping he doesn't come early because I hate surprises! We have our next appointment on January 11. I am just hoping that he remains head down so that I don't have to have a c-section. Stay tuned! |
