Back to Busy

I think "busy" is my word of the day-more like the word of my life! Every blog post could be titled "busy" or have that word in it. Let's see...Where do I begin? The second weekend in April our neighborhood had a great yard sale. We sold our lives away! Who knew someone would really want some old pans or a quesadilla maker? I guess a lot of people because we sold those items and a whole lot more. The following weekend, the girls partied hard with a lot of their friends at the Knoxville Zoo. It was a really fun party. I was not too impressed with the little zoo worker that organized our event (he was late and I like to be in control a little too much), but all-in-all the kids had a great time, my treat bags were cute and the girls had fun playing with their friends and touring the zoo after their party. One of the highlights was getting to invite a small critter to crash the party. The girls chose a hedgehog and Hillary was a cute little ball of spikes. All the kids liked watching and petting her. We're already thinking about plans for their 3rd and 4th birthdays next March!

The girls and some of their pals listening very carefully during their meeting with Hillary the Hedgehog.

For their birthday the girls were spoiled rotten-two parties and a TON of presents. I guess since they share a birthday it seems like so many presents at once-kind of like Christmas morning! They are lucky to have such generous people in their lives. Of course, Mommy and Daddy are over the top and wanted them to have one big gift. They were SO excited when their new Jeep arrived in the mail last weekend. The rain held off Friday evening and Saturday morning long enough for them to ride in it a few times. Emma loves driving it and Anna Grace likes being the passenger. Anna got pretty upset at first because Emma's jerky driving kind of scared her, but once we found out how to make the Jeep go faster she came around. Apparently slow driving does not satisfy Anna Grace (can you say "dangerous in 15 years?!)!

Sisters taking a spin!

I returned to work last week so we are all getting back into our regular routines. Only a few more weeks of school then I'm off for the summer! Henry also turned two months old last week. He is 13 lbs. .5 oz. So far, Anna is still in the lead for chunkiest Hart baby (she weighed 13 lbs. 5 oz. at two months). He has a bit of reflux and was given some meds to help with that. Otherwise, he is a really good baby. He loves to smile and play under the lights of his playmat.

ALL smiles!

Since we are so busy (see, there is that word again!), this will more than likely be my last blog update for a while. I have been trying hard to keep current photos uploaded on the peek-a-boo page for all our family and friends over seas and faraway. Check back with us in a few weeks!
